Job offer: Helmsmen and Sailors

Do you want to work as crew member at the market leader in the transport of liquid non-hazardous cargo, such as edible oils, slurry and liquid animal feed? Then we have the job that suits you! We are looking for sailors and helmsmen who will work on one of our inland barges within the fleet of more than 60 barges. Are you someone who loves being on the water and do you see yourself working on board one of our inland barges? Then we are looking for you!

What vacancies are available?

Without crew there is no barging and without good crew there is no efficient barging. At Maaskade we are therefore looking for driven colleagues for the following positions:

• Helmsmen
• Sailors

Maaskade’s barges navigate all Western European inland waterways, such as the ARA area and the Rhine with its tributaries. Maaskade is the indispensable link between the import and export of products. We often load the liquid cargo in the sea ports after which we transport it to the processing industry, intermediate storage or the final destination and the other way around. As a helmsman or sailor you are/will become well known on the European rivers and as a team you are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ cargo is delivered undamaged, on time and safely.
